4. Conclusion
The above results suggested that the combination digestion was
superior to single material fermentation. The BMP for FWand straw
obtained was 0.26 and 0.16 m3 CH4/kg-VS, respectively. The optimal
mixing ratio for co-digestion of FW and straw was found to be close
to 5:1 and the recommended size range of straw was 0.3 e 1 mm.
Under this condition, the C/N of the system was about 31, with
corresponding maximum GP and MPY of 0.58 m3/kg-VS and
0.392m3/kg-VS, respectively. Compared with individual FWor straw
digestion, the MPY was increased by 39.5% and 149.7%, respectively
